Description : If so, it is a pattern with quite a history. It was first brought out in 1906 by the Riverside Glass Company as their Kanawha pattern. The Riverside went out of business a year later as part of the National Glass Company debacle and the molds were then transferred to the Tygart Valley Glass Company, who continued to sell the pattern as no. 593 Kanawha. By 1915, however, the molds seem to have changed hands once again, because the McKee Glass Company announced this as their "new" Pres-Cut No. 75 Colonial line. And that wasn't the end. In the 1950s, many of the molds from this pattern were purchased by the L. E. Smith Glass Company who are still selling pieces from these molds as their Dominion line. (To the best of my knowledge, however, they have only made the regular table cream and sugar and they do not have the berry cream and sugar molds.)
