Description	:	Dakota is part of the State Series. Non-flint Ripley & Co, Pittsburgh PA c 1885; US Glass Co Pittsburgh PA c 1898 Original Color Production: Clear, clear with ruby stain (plain, engraved, souvenired.) Cobalt blue or any other color would be considered rare. Issued in two conspicour forms: (a) a "hotel set" distinguished by ruffled edges and flat bases, and (b) a "household set" distinguished by plain edges and pedestaled, circular bases. Reproductions & Look-a-Likes: 11" h. tankard water jug with pressed handle (clear, clear with light cranberry stain). Marked with an embossed "R" within a shield. Donated by Nada Kilgore.
