Greener & Co., Sunderland, UK, Rd. 176239, Primrose Pearline design from Aug. 10, 1891

Description	:	It is 6" tall, maximum 5 3/4" wide. This basket with twig handles was registered in the United Kingdom on August 10, 1891. The design registered was for 'a vase, with naturalistic top'. In other words, the twig branches was the unique part that was registered. Geo. Davidson called this color PRIMROSE PEARLINE. Greener & Co. was a direct competitor to Davidson and this was Greener's version. We call it vaseline opalescent. I have also seen this vase round instead of pinched sides.
