Height 2 1/2", width 8 1/4", foot 3 1/8" heavy peach opalescent. In "Dugan/Diamond The Story of Indiana, Pennsylvania, Glass" by Heacock, Measell, & Wigging, 1993, on page 133:"Daisey Dear , This exterior pattern ... is very similar to the exterior patterns called Caroline and Single Flower..., so it may be a holdover from the many such Dugan articles made from 1905-08." The other interesting thing about these pieces that you mention is that they are also found decorated. Is that the reason why they are somewhat plain looking? So there was room for additional
enameled decoration? Donated by Norman |
