Dugan "Cherry" bowl
Description : There are actually two versions of this pattern, one is a collar based while the other is 3 footed. This is an example of the three footed version. It appeared in a Butler Brothers catalogue in 1910. Then it did not show up again until 1917 when Diamond Glass took over which then it continually appeared until 1923.
Two styles of bowls. One has the Cherry pattern on the interior plus exterior(1917) where the other has the pattern on the exterior only(1910) (as shown in Norman's Gallery Photo).
Shapes: Round or Triangular
Edges: Round, crimped, broad ruffle, tight ruffle, flat ruffle.
Colors:
Bowls with plain interior:Marigold, peach opalescent,peach opalescent with painted floral decoration on the interior.
Both interior and exterior pattern: marigold, amethyst, peach opalescent,white, cobalt blue, oxblood,vaseline with marigold overlay, possibly green?
Both White and Cobalt Blue are considered Rare.
It is 4" high; 8 1/2" across.
